For years, the magical open air theatre of Brunssum has been a unique spot between the willows and the water of the lush green city park. Most people living in Brunssum cherish memories in connection with the theatre, have been in the audience or have performed there themselves with an orchestra, choir, dance group or brass band. The theatre is not in plain sight, but once discovered, you cannot miss it. The concrete blocks form a grandstand and the green surroundings and small pond create a magical atmosphere of peace and quiet. Quite the opposite is true when there is a show going on, then this place is bursting with energy.

Saturday 12 August - Santana Tribute
The eight-member formation treats their audience to a 3-hour show with the best of the best of Santana. All their greatest hits are in the show and there are solos galore. Line-up: guitar, bass, drums, keys, 2x vocals and 2x percussion.

Location, directions and accessibility
The Open Air Theatre Brunssum is situated in a lush green location within the Vijverpark. You can reach the theatre by the entrance at 102, Doorvaartstraat. The theatre can also be reached by means of the footpaths in the park. Follow the signs for Openluchttheater Brunssum.
Public transport: exit at bus stop Lindeplein or Wilhelminastraat. If you are coming by car, please use one of the many parking spaces surrounding the Vijverpark: Doorvaartstraat, Alsdorfplein or Koutenveld.
The Open Air theatre is accessible for wheelchair users and has a capacity of 500 places including several wheelchair places.

Most shows are for free, for a number of performances you need to buy a ticket. For more information and ticket sales please visit our website and social media channels. Make your seat more comfortable and use our outdoor cushions. And when it is chilly, feel free to bring your own blanket.
